I’m Mac Potts; a Pianist, Vocalist & Sax Player

Mac Potts began as a child prodigy. Born totally blind, Mac stepped into the spotlight as a professional musician at 14 years old. He progressed from classical piano to jazz, blues, boogie-woogie, and rock and roll – performing solo and collaboratively across North America. 

Mac was a contestant on Season 17 of ABC’s American Idol. He wowed Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, making it through multiple rounds of the popular TV show. While Mac possesses the charm and charisma to fill auditoriums, he is best known for his solo piano/vocal/saxophone act at establishments across the Pacific Northwest. Mac frequents venues in Portland, SW Washington, Seattle, and the shores of Lake Chelan, where he lives and works as a worship director for Lake Chelan Bible Church.  

As a premier wedding musician, Mac crafts the perfect atmosphere for each couple’s unique ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. From flowy piano processionals to emotional first dances, Mac enhances every big day with seamless transitions, professional artistry, and memorable talent. 

Playing the piano behind his back is his go-to party trick but especially for dueling pianos. If Mac’s dynamic personality and soulful voice wasn’t enough as a dueling pianist, his sheer prowess on the keys alone astounds audiences of all ages and stages of sobriety.

Mac Potts is available to book as a solo act, a collaborative artist, for session work in studios, for private events, weddings, church events, galas, and other fundraising events.
